21st  Annual Global Vancouver Hockey Camp and Clinic

Format:  

1 practices and 4 games. Practices are conducted by  N.C.A..A. and Junior Coaches from a wide variety of leagues and levels. A series of mini seminar with be hosted by the coaches. There will be 2 additional goalie instructional sessions for goalies.

              1996 and older (Goalies sold out)

Purpose:

Players that attend our Camps and Clinics will be given the opportunity to play high caliber hockey in front of scouts from various leagues and levels

Benefit:

One price includes ice times and mini-seminars. You will gain exposure and information to a variety of Junior leagues. You will be playing with and against top elite players from all over North America. There will be top caliber officials from the NHL, AHL, WHL, and BCHL at all levels. Players will find the games less stressful and more fun at our Camp. Parents and players will be able to obtain information on both Major Junior, Junior A and College Hockey. This information will aid in the decision making process into which route may be best for your son. You will be able to network with some very knowledgeable people in the hockey field who may help you with valuable information.

Information:             

The Camp will include mini-seminars where parents and players can obtain much needed information from people who are "in the know". Global Staff and scouts are very approachable to answer questions you might have during the camps.

Why Mini Seminars:           

Information  

-A seminar will enable a player and parents to obtain information from reliable Sources. You will be able to ask "key" questions, which may assist you in making important decisions to plan your future.

Exposure

 -The Hockey player and parents will have the opportunity to meet with the scouts. These  seminars are a great place to network with people that can really help your hockey career

Important Fact

College Scouts cannot approach players until the players enter their Grade 12 school year A player and/or parent can however, approach College Scouts and Recruiters at anytime

The NCAA rules allow the player and parent to initiate the contact at anytime. Violation of this rule invites severe penalties to any NCAA schools deemed to be negligent in this respect. College Scouts have permission from the NCAA to attend our "camps" as long as the rule above is adhered to. This is why College Recruiters up to this point have not contacted you in your career.

Why practices:           
Global is one of the only Camps to offer practices conduct by coaches. Players have quickly learned that higher level coach’s practices are a lot different than their minor hockey league practices, as they are much more advanced and more demanding on a player. This allows them to see your work ethic in a practice setting and will allow you to see where you are in terms of what is expected of you at that level of hockey.
