Global would like to thank all the Parents, Players, Coaches and Scouts that participated in the 2010 Burnaby Showcase and Clinic.

Benefits:
Only elite players (no compromises) are invited. One price includes ice times and mini-seminars. You will gain exposure and information to a variety of leagues. You will be playing with and against top elite players from all over North America. There will be top caliber officials from the NHL, AHL, WHL, and BCHL at all levels. Players will find the games less stressful and more fun at our showcase. Parents and players will be able to obtain information on both Major Junior, Junior A and College Hockey. This information will aid in the decision making process into which route may be best for your son. You will be able to network with some very knowledgeable people in the hockey field who may help you with valuable information.
Information:
The showcases will include mini-seminars where parents and players can obtain much needed information from people who are "in the know". Global Staff and scouts are very approachable to answer questions you might have during the showcase.
Why Mini Seminars:
Information
-A seminar will enable a player and parents to obtain information from reliable Sources. You will be able to ask "key" questions, which may assist you in making important decisions to plan your future.
Exposure
-The Hockey player and parents will have the opportunity to meet with the scouts.
Important Facts
-College Scouts cannot approach players until the players enter their Grade 12 school year A player and/or parent can however, approach College Scouts and Recruiters at anytime
The NCAA rules allow the player and parent to initiate the contact at anytime. Violation of this rule invites severe penalties to any NCAA schools deemed to be negligent in this respect. College Scouts have permission from the NCAA to attend our "Showcases and Clinics" as long as the rule above is adhered to. This is why College Recruiters up to this point have not contacted you in your career.
Global Burnaby
Format:
1 Practices & 4 Games (Practices will be conducted by NCAA and Junior Coaches)& a series of mini seminars- there will be 2 additional goalie instructional sessions for goalies. Division 1(Peewee) will have 2 practices and 3 games( Practices will be conducted by NCAA and Junior Coaches)
Divisions:
Div 1 - 1999- 1998 (Pee Wee)
Div 2 - 1997- 1996 (Bantam)
Div 3- 1995 & older (Midget-Junior)
